THE DOCTORS
Watch Comedian Anna Douglas' Video
Anna grew up in a Christian base home and decided at an early age to build a personal relationship with the Lord. Anna began singing at the age of four and is a faithful servant of ministry. Realizing she has a special gift for making people laugh, she has further developed her gift and is performing as a Christian comedian. She has earned a reputation as a Christian comedian and has been invited to perform at major venues. Anna enjoys performing Christian comedy and is actively pursuing her dream of one day becoming a recognized name in this field.
Anna discovered her acting skills while taking an acting class in high school. She has performed in many plays and dramas.
Anna’s latest performance was in the hit gospel play Grown Folk Business, which had performances in major cities throughout North Caroline. One of Anna’s major performances was at the 2010 North Carolina Announcer’s Guild Award Banquet at the request of the Guild president, Pastor Arverta Jones. This was the vanue that started her career to take off for her gospel comedy.
Though Anna is capable of performing as a actress, comedian and singer, her greatest passion is singing. She has a very strong unique voice that demands the attention of her audience from the beginning and throughout her performances.
Another gift that God gave Anna is being a Gospel Mime Dancer. She is very accomplished mime dancer and have amazed her audience each time she dances. In 2010 Anna started In Tune Music and Publishing Company to stay (IN TUNE) with the business of Gospel Entertainment. Anna’s first CD was released in 2011, The Beginning. This music offering will give the music world a taste of things to come.
Anna is a member of the N. C. Gospel Association and the North Carolina gospel Announcers Guild.
