Sylvia “Small Fire” Moore formerly known as “Small Frie” was born in Drew, Mississippi and later moved to Atlanta, Georgia at the age of 14. Not long after her journey through high school and junior college she started her career as a comedienne. Dedicating her life to God has led her to change her moral approach towards comedy. All of the animation, energy and aggressiveness from her club days are still there but her show’s themes now revolve around the church and family values. “I believe the comedy ministry is mostly received because it’s not forced. You’re laughing and before you know it something just slipped in your spirit.” Small Fire has been blessed to appear on well known comedy shows and entertainment programs such as: TBN, Bobby Jones Gospel, Word Network, Vibe, Wayans’ Brothers Show, Showtime At The Apollo, Def Comedy Jam, B.E.T.’s Lift Every Voice and Comic View. She also appeared in the Disney Movie “The First Kid” with comedian Sinbad.
