Bishop February?” Serving as a writer and actor in the “It’s Time 2
Laugh” Internet comedy sketch series broadcasted to millions on the

words used to describe Comedian Mike Goodwin. He has dedicated his
gift to bringing clean comedy back to families, communities and the
workplace.
A Camden, South Carolina native, Mike entered the
United States Army after graduating from Camden High School and
served as an active duty and reserve soldier for 14 years. After his
active duty service, Mike enrolled at Lander University in
Greenwood, South Carolina. While attending Lander, Mike was
initiated into the Gamma Nu Chapter of kappa Alpha Psi and later
assisted in chartering the Omicron Nu Chapter.
The seeds of
comedy were also planted at Lander where Mike hosted a myriad of
events and served as a student ambassador for the college. Mike’s
comedic gift did not begin to flourish though until he dedicated his
life to Christ at a New Year’s service in 1998. Ironically, a New
Year’s service some years later was the birthplace of Comedian Mike
Goodwin.
Mike graduated from Lander University with
Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and later graduated from the
University of South Carolina with a Master of Education. As a
student affairs professional, he has presented at a number of
professional conferences. A strong advocate for service, Mike has
volunteered with a number of civic, fraternal, professional, and
non-profit organizations, and mentors many secondary school and
college students.
Mike incorporates his life experience into
his roles as a comedian, writer and motivational speaker. What keeps
COMEDIAN Mike Goodwin GROUNDED is his love for his family and his
devotion to his spiritual family at Right Direction Christian Center
in Columbia, South Carolina where he serves as an Elder.
Some
comedians are born funny, while others work hard at being funny; but
then there are those who are anointed to be funny. Mike is flowing
in the anointing. Mike currently lives in Columbia, South Carolina
with his wife Rozalynn and their lovely daughter.

Islam member trying to sell “Final Calls” at a church revival. Mike
had great stage presence and a strong command of his material. Great
